**Yolande Leblanc, coordinator for the Memramcook/Hillsborough Christmas Bird Count, advises that it will be held on Thursday, December 18th. If someone wants to participate, as a field counter or feeder counter in that circle, please contact Yolande so she can organize her teams and ensure the whole circle is covered. Circles can be found on the Birds Canada site. This count encompasses a diverse range of habitats and offers excellent areas for birding throughout the day.

Contact Yolande at yolandeleblanc834@gmail.com or 506-758-9234.

**Jane LeBlanc watched a sharp-shinned hawk in her yard on Tuesday morning. It sat for a good half hour, preening itself as it waited to feed. It finally left hungry.
