**The  nice photos that Norbert Dupuis got of a Pine Warbler and a Fox Sparrow in his Memramcook yard were nabbed by gremlins from yesterday’s Nature News edition. They were made gremlin-proof and added to today’s edition!

**Christine Lever thoroughly enjoyed reading a piece about a biologist who was instrumental in saving Bald Eagles in the US after their numbers plummeted due to hunting and DDT, among other stressors.

After reading it, Christine thought others might also be interested, especially as a biologist was working with the Peregrine Trust at Cornell.

(Editor’s note: the Bald Eagle population in the Maritimes suffered the same fate except on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. It was an ecstatic moment when the first Bald Eagle nest to appear in the Moncton area was spotted at the Forest Brook subdivision off Salisbury Road. Many birders had scopes trained on the nest, some not only to see their first Bald Eagle but a nest as well.)
