**John Inman notes the common grackles are
starting to puff out their chests and vocalize a bit.
(Editor's note: who wouldn't on a tropical spring-like day as today!)
The resident barred owl is still hanging around
for rodents as is the resident red-tailed hawk, which John suspects will
leave soon for its summer territory.
