**  Marlene Hickman in Dorchester is yet another to report a flock of visiting EVENING GROSBEAKS [Gros-bec errant] in recent days, with a flock of 12 now being regular patrons in her feeder yard.

**  There is lots of clinging fruit for birds that are fruit connoisseurs, but there seem to be few of the regular takers.  In his yard, Brian Stone has a male RING-NECKED PHEASANT [Faisan de Colchide] that jumps up into a flowering crab tree to partake of the fruit.

Brian also spotted a hawk on a utility wire in the midst of Sunday afternoon’s heavy traffic near the Trinity Power Centre [in Moncton]. Some distant photos suggest an immature RED-TAILED HAWK [Buse à queue rousse]. AMERICAN CROWS [Corneille d'Amérique] were harassing it.
