** Penny Clark and friends have been watching the Camp Wildwood BALD EAGLE [Pygargue à tête blanche] nest at Camp Wildwood near McKees Mills closely. On Wednesday they were able to see clearly 2 eaglets being tended by an adult and got a photo of the action.
** Aldo Dorio got a photo of an AMERICAN BLACK DUCK  with a recently hatched chick at the island on Wednesday.
** Karl Duivenvoorden sends out a regular green ideas newsletter. An illustration in a recent one, “How long does it last?” may make us al more conscious how long some waste products can remain in a marine environment.
**Brian Stone shares an interesting photo of a BALD EAGLE [Pygargue à tête blanche] voicing its opinion along the Petitcodiac River near Hillsborough on Tuesday.
** We have 3 Jewelwing Damselflies that are large among the damselflies flying at the moment. Brian Stone got a photo of the largest and least common of the three, the SUPERB JEWELWING. Brian’s photo is a female.
