**Rheal Vienneau saw some new growth of common milkweed patches in Sheffield on Monday. He stopped for a closer look to find over a dozen first instar MONARCH CATERPILLARS. He could tell predators had gotten to a lot more. Rheal says this is the latest date he has ever seen first instar monarch caterpillars. A very interesting observation.

**Ray Gauvin is getting some very lively action to his Parlee beach water fountain including a YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER, a bright YELLOW WARBLER, PURPLE FINCH, and a WAXWING enjoying it with vigour. While he was watching them a large raptor came in to check out the action but did not stick around when Ray reached for the camera.

**Georges Brun was in the Memramcook area on Tuesday evening and noted two flocks of waterfowl fly over. One flock of 26 and another flock of 36. He said he suspected them to be COMMON EIDER.

**Aldo Dorio got a photo of a LESSER YELLOWLEGS and a LEAST SANDPIPER side by side on Tuesday to give a nice size comparison but be aware the Lesser Yellowlegs is nearer the camera.

**I heard my first lone SPRING PEEPER vocalizing in the Miramichi area on Tuesday evening. Those single frogs this time of year can sure sound like some type of bird.
