**Brian Coyle got some nice pictures of his BROWN CREEPER that is a regular on his Lower Mountain Rd. yard Spruce trees.  It evaded us at the feeder tour visit of February 24th.  Brian also got a photo of some of the 4 PINE SISKINS that are now visiting.  He comments they seldom stay long enough for a photo.  One photo shows one very bright yellow suspected to be a male and is displaying and running the others off at times.

**Brian Stone was in Dartmouth on Tuesday to drop by Dartmouth Cove and Sullivan's Pond. At Dartmouth Cove he photographed some of the waterfowl we can expect to see on the Nature Moncton Spring Waterfowl field trip being planned in a few weeks and soon to be announced.  He got BLACK GUILLEMOT in its variable plumage at this time of year, a distant photo of a RED-NECKED GREBE in winter plumage, RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS and Brian could not pass up a solar halo.
RING-BILLED GULLS are much more expected in the  Dartmouth area in winter and he got photos of an adult as well as a 1st cycle and a late second cycle HERRING GULL. Many gull species are moulting at the moment but the adult Ring-billed gull photographed still has its winter streaked head.  The gull prize of the day was an adult COMMON GULL at Sullivan's Pond.  There has not been one located in NB yet this winter.  This gull is a European gull that is indeed common in its native areas.
