** Two bad weather days in a row makes
for a short report.
Catherine Hamilton was able to photograph a GLOSSY
IBIS [Ibis falcinelle] in the Penobsquis area on Monday. It was quite distant
but she was able to get a photo.
Yvette
Richard looked out her window over Cocagne Bay on Tuesday afternoon and noticed
a male SURF SCOTER swimming along against a pretty good swell and wind with one
photo shaking off excess water.
** I am sure we will never tire of
hearing EASTERN BLUEBIRD [Merlebleu de l'Est] reports. Kevin Renton reports
there was a pair investigating one of the Renton’s Stilesville yard bird houses
on Tuesday despite the weather and am hoping they set up shop. Kevin also
mentions that the bird feeder yard seems to still have all the regulars, just
less of them.
