** The Arthur Street lagoon in Memramcook is a favoured birding spot with the erected blind very appreciated. Yolande LeBlanc notes some birders/photographers are driving into the farmer's fields to view geese and gulls. She strongly advises to not drive on the walking trail or farmer's fields but there is a road around the lagoon one can drive on. The birding community does not want to offend landowners or municipalities when we venture on their properties. We don't want to get a bad reputation and be barred from choice places. Yolande cautions to please be mindful and polite.

Unfortunately, this may not reach those driving in the fields. However, as birders it is up to us to give polite reminders.

**Brian Stone got some nice photos of Shaggy Mane Mushrooms which are fruiting abundantly at the moment. The photos show some nice fresh ones and two that show what happens in a few days as they turn to an inky liquid with the exception of the stem.

If using them as edibles we usually only have day. They can be dried fresh cutting them down the middle.
