**Petitcodiac River
Appreciation Day is about to be in full progress a mere 3 days from now on
Saturday, November 5.
The RCMP Pipes and Drum
band are warming up to greet the Tidal Bore as the day starts, enthusiastic
speakers are ready to hit the road running, and a $540 door prize is waiting to
find a home with some lucky participant as well is an impressive line-up of
silent auction items anxious to reach new homes as well. For those who do not
have tickets, make certain to get tickets ASAP to have stubs in the specially
designed rotating drum for that big door prize! Mother Nature is predicting
Saturday to be the warmest day of the week. How can we hope for better?
**It’s not a busy
edition today so Nelson Poirier cannot resist another brag about the
beautifully dressed female Northern Cardinal that is enjoying sunflower
chips with gusto in his Moncton feeder yard. She will be provided with the most
choice menu available even if Nelson’s grocery bill has to be curtailed!
**Attached below is a
calendar of events that the New Brunswick Environmental Network puts out each
month with a list of events of which they are aware. Check it out at the link below. Please note 4 Nature Moncton
events are posted with all details.
