**A big thank you to Kelsey Wilson and staff members of the Petitcodiac River Watershed Alliance for coming to the Nature Moncton March meeting to share information on how they will be caring for the Petitcodiac River, its many tributaries and other rivers in the watershed.

They have a lot of projects lined up and a very devoted staff to carry them through.

We are very fortunate to have this group focused on protecting the river and improving it.

**Jane LeBlanc took her bicycle out for a spin around St. Martins and found Pitcher Plants from last fall now without a snow covering at a bog near her home.

**Brian Stone sends some photos from Upham and Hampton taken on Tuesday. Feeder yard birds seen and photographed include Common Grackle, Mourning Doves, and Evening Grosbeaks. Birds seen but not photographed include Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers, American Goldfinches, and Pileated Woodpecker. At the Hampton lagoon, Brian photographed the newly arrived and recently well-photographed Ruddy Duck. A Turkey Vulture perched in a tree and preening made an interesting subject, and the ever-present White-tailed Deer were close and unconcerned with being photographed. A pair of male American Wigeon ducks were part of a larger gathering of mixed ducks on the far side of Spooner Island.
