**A big thank you to Caitlyn Robert and her assistant
Cassandra Boulanger for bringing their presentation on tracks, scats, and
skulls to Nature Moncton on Tuesday night to capture the full attention of a
full house of participants with a steady stream of information of wildlife
signs that will make outdoor walks so much more interesting this winter.
The opening PowerPoint presentation illustrations were
then supported by two large tables of captivating examples that participants
were able to gather around to exchange ideas and thoughts. An exceptionally
well-done presentation!
**Some prototypes of the excellent birdfeeders designed
by Lynn and Fred Dube were on display and will be available soon for purchase.
The design allows for seeds to be protected from weather conditions and reduces
the chance of fecal contamination to improve hygiene. Stay tuned for their
availability soon!
**Maureen Girvan was on her daily walk in Dieppe near
Gauvin Road at 6:22 PM on Tuesday evening when she looked up at the night sky and
was struck by the image of a large group of gulls flying over in the
dying embers of light to take a video that she shares at the link below.
