**A very special thank-you to Jean Renton for fuelling up a large
group of enthusiastic folk with a special breakfast as a start to the
Nature Moncton Bird Feeder Tour on Saturday. Lots of cameras got bird
photos over the day that are attached. Thanks to the hosts over the
day that opened their homes and feeder yards for perusal, giving a
great day of fellowship with bright sunshine as a refreshing bonus.
**Susan Richards shares some photos of SNOW BUNTINGS [Plectrophane
des
neiges] that are patrons at her Taylor Village feeder yard. They
appear to be taking on a sharper contrasting plumage in preparation
for spring.
**Carolyn Vankampen has a female RED-BELLIED WOODPECKER [Pic à ventre
roux] visiting her Hillsborough feeder yard. Carolyn also comments a
male Red-bellied Woodpecker is visiting another feeder yard in the
Hillsborough area on a regular basis.
**Louise Nichols continues to get RUFFED GROUSE [Gélinotte huppée]
foraging on catkins of a Birch [Bouleau] tree in her Sackville yard.
She usually sees them in the morning or late afternoon.
