**BANK SWALLOWS [Hirondelle de rivage] were still very busy feeding their young at the Bouctouche Dune on Friday. Brian Stone got some photos with the very wide-open gaping mouths of the nestlings getting their lunch delivered.

**As we know, MALLARD Ducks [Canard colvert] can become quite used to humans. Kevin and Jean Renton had a hen Mallard come by their Stilesville deck for food laid out on Friday, and it went one step farther and wandered right into the house through an open patio door.

**The BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS [Pluvier argenté] are arriving on schedule. Aldo Dorio got a photo of a Black-bellied Plover on Friday, as well as a VIRGINIA CTENUCHA Moth [Cténuche de Virginie] nectaring on JOE-PYE-WEED [Eupatoire maculée], an insect favourite nectaring plant at the moment.
