**Georges Brun got some interesting photos of a female, or juvenile male AMERICAN REDSTART warbler in his Churchill St. yard recently. Georges comments there were several of them. Note the diagnostic pattern of the yellow on the tail views and the yellow spots just below the wing.

**Brian Stone captured some nice shorebird photos near Cap Pele on Tuesday including RUDDY TURNSTONE, both adult and juvenile, a SANDERLING, SEMIPALMATED PLOVER juvenile and SPOTTED SANDPIPER juvenile. I would rather expect the spotted sandpipers will soon be leaving us.

**Jamie and Karen Burris visited a pond off Pine Glen Rd. on Tuesday to find a VICEROY butterfly posing for a photo, however Jamie comments it was very small, smaller than a cabbage butterfly. Jim Edsall comments occasionally a caterpillar will run out of its food source and pupate to a smaller than normal adult which may have resulted in the smaller size. This is not a common scenario.

Jamie also got a flight shot of a SHADOW DARNER DRAGONFLY and a pair of WHITE-FACED MEADOWHAWK dragonflies in mating wheel as well as a WHITE-FACED MEADOWHAWK dragonfly solo.

**Aldo Dorio got photos of 2 COMMON YELLOWTHROAT warblers, 1 adult male in fall plumage and a second which is either a female or juvenile.
