**Great news from the Tantramar marsh, a GOLDEN EAGLE is
being spotted. Louise Nichols spotted it on Tuesday and Jason Gallant spotted
it on Monday. Louise saw it on the ground at first not too far from the High
Marsh Rd. close to the Carter Cross Rd. It lifted off as she got closer and
circled the area. Louise got what photographs she was able, to verify it.
Louise captured the slight dihedral the golden eagle has that the bald eagle
does not tend to show. Louise comments that there is still lots of activity on
the marsh with RED-TAILED HAWKS and ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS.
