** Mitch Doucet comments that when he can gets time from work at lunch he enjoys going to Bell marsh.  On Wednesday he was able to get photos of a PHILADELPHIA VIREO, adult male BALTIMORE ORIOLE, YELLOW WARBLER MALE, NORTHERN PARULA and some AMERICAN REDSTART WARBLERS.  He could hear AMERICAN BITTERN but did not see it.
Bell marsh is traditionally a good spot for Baltimore orioles and Philadelphia vireos as they usually nest there.

**Gordon Rattray paid a visit to the Hillsborough rail line on Wednesday to get some nice warbler photos of WILSON'S WARBLER, BLACK and WHITE WARBLER, NORTHERN PARULA, a first summer male AMERICAN REDSTART and saw great numbers of YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS.  Of special interest was a group of BOBOLINKS in the area.
BLUE-WINGED TEAL, NORTHERN SHOVELER and AMERICAN WIGEONS were on the adjoining lagoon.

**Audrey Goguen had a Baltimore oriole arrive to her waiting orange half sections in North view St. Moncton yard on Wednesday. Always a special time of year when these species will join us in our yards for a sampling of orange half sections or grape fruit, especially the pink-red ones.

**Jean-Paul Leblanc got a photo of a NORTHERN GANNET that was found injured and unable to fly, across the road from the Michaud farm.  It was taken by Francis Lavigne to the Atlantic Wildlife Institute.  This species is a hard bird to handle and rehabilitate.

**Stella Leblanc got a nice view of a WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW in her Bouctouche yard on Tuesday.

**Aldo Dorio got some nice photos of a HERMIT THRUSH on Hay Island on Wednesday.  He also saw  female RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS moving about.

**Brian Stone shares some nice photos from Perth Ontario.  He came across a large SNAPPING TURTLE, BOBOLINKS, an OVENBIRD and a WHITE TRILLIUM, which is Ontario's provincial flower and not native to New Brunswick, a WATER SNAKE, which is not known to be in NB as yet but is just across the Saint Croix River in Maine's Moosehorn Reserve and hard to think some may not have crossed the river and just not detected yet in NB.  Also a male SCARLET TANAGER, a striking bird that NB gets a rare casual, but don't think any breeding record has been established as yet.
