** Gordon Rattray is yet another who has had a lone PINE SISKIN [Tarin
des pins] show up at his Weldon feeder yard. It seems odd how several people
have had a lone siskin show up at bird feeders, and usually briefly.
** The Times and Transcript will be running an article on the NATURE
MONCTON GULL FIELD TRIP today. The on-line posting of it has already come out
with several photos, which the printed version will not have. The title is “For
a Weekend Trip, Birders Head to the Dump.”. The attached link may take you to the article https://www.telegraphjournal.com/telegraph-journal/story/100529692
** Also of interest, one of the adult BALD EAGLES [Pygargue à tête
blanche] photographed on Saturday had a red band on its right leg. The origin of
the band is being investigated, and any information obtained on it will follow.
I did not run that photo yesterday, but it is attached today.
