It is almost hard to believe that shorebird season is here again!
Aldo Dorio photographed 6 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS at Hay Island on Saturday,
July 4 the some still showing breeding plumage remnants.
He also photographed a Red Fox that appears to be showing some evidence
of black in the pelage.
I noticed Great Spangled Fritillary butterflies flying on Saturday for
the first time for me. A few photos of the female are attached.
