The Nature news dashboard is very quiet this morning in the calm after the storm as Mother Nature left us all with our first major dump of snow to dig out from and see the beautiful day she has offered to us today.

LeBlanc took the opportunity to make the best of it and photograph the designs
some of the swirling winds left as the snow was deposited in their Bouctouche
yard.

Budd’s RUFFED GROUSE patron got quite a surprise to find it was looking into
her window instead of looking up to it as it did before the mounds of snow arrived.
Lois comments the snow built up so much in her yard she had to toss seed out the window to feed her crew before snow removal assistance arrived.
