**Jane LeBlanc in St. Martins put out more Mountain Ash
berries to promptly attract an American Robin. Since the robin has been coming for the berries, Jane has also seen Purple Finch and White-throated sparrows come to the berries.
One would think the latter species may be more
interested in the seeds than the pulp of the berry; however, it would seem from Jane's photos that they are
taking the whole berry.
**On Sunday, Jamie and Karen Burris had a male
Northern Flicker visit their suet feeder. He was enjoying a nice meal until a
flock of European Starlings took over the table!
