**The Simon family recently
visited the Zoo Ecomuseum in Montreal, which is an accredited Zoo that houses
Quebec-only species. One of the best parts of their visit was the viewing of 2
birds of prey, a Golden Eagle and a Red-tailed Hawk, in which the
exhibit design allowed for humans-to-raptor eye-to-eye view.
(Editor’s
note: what a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the Golden Eagle up close. The
Simons commented the zoo is arranged to be a very comfortable environment and as natural as
possible for the raptors, with the public being able to appreciate them
without disturbing them.)
**
Norbert Dupuis in Memramcook East continues to
enjoy 2 female Northern Cardinals visiting his feeders daily, now for
the 16th day, allowing pleasant photo ops.
