**The Peregrine Falcon nest box live feed had to be ended on Friday for resource reasons with the City of Moncton feed.

It is planned to operate for a longer period next year to evaluate the effect of the July 1 fireworks. Opinion is divided on that issue as some feel with all the city noise these birds experience, the fireworks may not be an issue at all.

Georges Brun comments “Thanks! to all those involved in the set-up and imagery of the Peregrine Box Nest atop Assumption Place.  To your partner Magnetic Hill Zoo and NBDNR for their involvement as well.”

**Brian Stone sends a few older photos that he managed to find some time to process that were taken on June 05 and June 12. He also found photos of a Wood Duck family from back on May 30th at Highland Park in Salisbury. At his sister's yard in Upham on June 05 he photographed an interesting Greater Ant fly, (Microdon manitobensis), and a White-spotted Sable moth. He also got an Eastern Forktail damselfly and a very vocal Gray Catbird that was seen on the same perch several days in a row.

(Editors note: note the signature cinnamon-coloured undertail covert in Brian’s photo of the Gray Catbird, as well is the black cap.)

On June 12th Brian visited both the Hampton lagoons and Dutch Point Park on the same day and photographed some of the dozens of Bullfrogs populating the lagoons and a few of the Tree Swallows peeking out of the Nature Moncton nest boxes. A Great Blue Heron flew overhead and an Alder Flycatcher was calling from his favorite treetop. A male Common Whitetail dragonfly joined Hobomok Skippers, Common Ringlet butterflies, Little Wood Satyr butterflies, Red Admiral butterflies, Northern Crescent butterflies, a small Ichneumon Wasp, (Neamblymorpha milva) and a pale Northern Azure butterfly in enjoying the hot sunlight in the afternoon.
