**Nature News is being updated on Saturday night for Sunday morning due to an early-morning commitment, so possibly some photos that are submitted later will not be included.

Nature News will not be updated for the next 3-5 days as the editor will be out of Internet range. Continue to submit your photos and observations as Nature News will be updated as soon as the editor returns within Internet range.

**Mac and Brenda Wilmot have had a very faithful pair of Carolina wrens that have nested in their Lower Coverdale yard for the past two years, and they stayed with them all winter as well.

Their favourite menu appears to be a peanut butter suet blend and frozen dried mealworms. Take a look at the action in the links below as well as in today’s photo lineup.

**Georges Brun photographed a pair of beetles that possibly few of us have taken note of before. AI identifies them as groundselbush beetles, which appears to be a good match.

**Brian Stone made a stop at the Tucker Street Ducks Unlimited impoundment on Wednesday. He noted a large group of a blend of geese, ducks, shorebirds, and gulls.

One gull caught his eye among the group and he very much suspected it to be a lesser black-backed gull. It is arrowed in the group photo.
