**Oct. 10th and 11th…early
morning…what a spectacle from Norbert
Dupuis’ bedroom window… hundreds of Canada geese flying over Memramcook
Valley and his house and landing across the road in a cut corn field. On Sunday morning, there was very little activity; they must
be feeling the fall chill as well.
For a couple of days, Norbert has
had two pairs of purple finch.
**John
Inman noticed a bald eagle leaving the yard early Sunday morning with a
branch to shore up the nest.
John is noting a lot of honeybees at
a hummingbird feeder he still has out.
A second male
red-bellied woodpecker showed up and he wonders if they will both stay
as they did not get along in the past. The one on the suet showed a bit of
belly coloration.
(Editor's note: a pleasant Thanksgiving day greeting to all. We have so much to be thankful for!)
