**There's obviously a significant number of SNOWY OWLS [Harfang des
neiges] in New Brunswick this winter, from all the scattered reports.
Georges Brun reports his friend David LeBlanc saw a Snowy Owl
approximately 300 feet downriver of the Hall's Creek/ Petitcodiac River
walking trail a few days ago. The bird was on the Riverview side of
the river approximately 6 feet below the top of the main bank of the
river.

**It always seems odd how bird species reports often come in clumps.
Dale Gaskin reports a flock of EVENING GROSBEAKS [Gros-bec errant]
arrived to his Dawson Settlement feeder yard on Friday. That makes for
the fourth report of a flock coming to feeders in a few days, all some
distance apart.

**Richard and Kathy Faulkner comment that they're noting a majestic
pair of mature BALD EAGLES [Pygargue à tête blanche] perching on the
dead pine trees at Stoney Creek on the right hand side of the road
heading towards Hillsborough. They seem to have been reliably there
the past several days.
