** Carmella Melanson got some very interesting photos of a CASPIAN TERN [Sterne caspienne] at Petit-cap, very possibly the same one Roger LeBlanc reported recently.  Carmella got an excellent flight shot, as well as one with the Caspian Tern beside two COMMON TERNS [Sterne pierregarin] and a RING-BILLED GULL [Goéland à bec cerclé] to show size comparisons with this large tern species.
** Gabriel Gallant got a photo of a SPRING PEEPER [Rainette crucifère] without the signature markings;  however, the sucker footpads show well.  John Gilan comments that he had seen one before with this uniform orange colouration lacking the markings.  The specimen Gabriel photographed was very small, the size of the end of a pinkie finger.
** Brian Stone got a few photos of a TWELVE-SPOTTED TIGER BEETLE on Sunday.   Dwayne Sabine comments it is found on a wide variety of bare-earth habitats from interior logging roads to gravel bars on streams to coastal sand beaches.  They are very fast movers when they need to be. Brian also got a nice photo of a Barn Swallow
** George Brun's photos of the YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER [Paruline à croupion jaune] fledgling were acciden tally not added yesterday.  They are attached today.
