**  Brian Stone shares another photo of an EASTERN PHOEBE [Moucherolle phébi]. This flycatcher is often one of the later ones to migrate because it does not go as far south for its winter retreat.

**  There are a few moth species that can be very abundant, coming to lights at this time of year. One is the AUTUMNAL MOTH [Arpenteuse verte veloutée] that visited my moth light in numbers on Friday and Sunday night nights. Note the inverted V in the central median area and the line of paired dark dots on the terminal line that help identify it. The BRUCE SPANWORM [Arpenteuse de Bruce] is another moth that favours late fall and is similar at first glance but lacks that inverted V and has discal spots near there, and the dots on the terminal line are single dots not paired. A few photos are added to show this.
