**Georges Brun noted 60+ Ducks [Canard] on a mud bar across the Petitcodiac River from the Château Moncton on Friday. They were too far away to identify; however, the profile of one Sandpiper [Bécasseau] tagalong shows in the photo.

**Aldo Dorio got a photo of a Sparrow [Bruant] that can easily be overlooked this time of year: a first fall WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW [Bruant à couronne blanche]. This species will be passing through after leaving their breeding area to the north of us. Note the tan and brownish head stripes. Aldo also photographed a fall YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER [Paruline à croupion jaune].
