**Paul Langelaan had a DICKCISSEL [Dickcissel d'Amérique] drop by his Second North River home to his deck on Friday. He was able to get good observations of it as it stayed for a time. This was a lifer for Paul that, as he commented, made his day a very happy one. The Dickcissel is always a great yard surprise and some will stay around a feeder yard for a while when they suddenly and unexpectedly appear. Bill Winsor captured some photos of it.

**Anna Tucker visited the Sackville Waterfowl Park on Friday to note lots of Ducks [Canard], GREAT BLUE HERONS [Grand Héron] still present, and Mountain Ash [Sorbier des oiseaux] berries still waiting for fruit connoisseur birds.

**Aldo Dorio again got photos of BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS [Jaseur boréal] at Hay Island Park. This time they were harvesting WINTERBERRY HOLLY [Houx verticillé] berries.

**Brian Stone has had alarming images appear on his living room wall at midnight the past week. He is suspecting his home is haunted but hopes and assumes they will be gone after the shenanigans of Halloween have passed. He was surprisingly able to get photos when the spooky guest made its appearance!
