** Louise Richard reports that she saw 3 female RING-NECKED
PHEASANTS [Faisan de Colchide] on Vaughn Harvey Boulevard, across from the
Y.M.C.A. This is a very busy area, but there is an undeveloped zone and I expect
they could access the Co-op feed mill offerings and there is also an area of
weeds.
** A very small, approximately 4 mm, JUMPING SPIDER [araignée
sauteuse] decided to come in from the cold to the inside of Brian Stone’s
kitchen window. Brian says that these little guys can sure jump and are very
fast, having had to chase it around the window with camera rolling to get just
one identifiable photo.
