** Ajo Wissink had a NORTHERN SHRIKE [Pie-grièche grise] visit his
Rosevale yard on New Year’s Day, and it came back the next day to pose for a
nice photo. The brown tones in the plumage suggest it to be an immature bird.
Ayo’s photo shows this feature nicely.
