MONCTON NATURE NEWS
November 8,
2022
This is
again a special edition as it highlights many photos and a video of Petitcodiac
River Appreciation Day.
The decision
to run Special Editions of events that involve multiple photos was planned to
be used only occasionally so is by coincident to happen two consecutive days.

**Our chief
videographer, Evar Simon, very diligently videotaped Petitcodiac River
Appreciation Day from the arrival of the Tidal Bore with its RCMP entourage,
all presentations, to the final major door prize draw. That is being prepared
at the moment and hope will be available in its entirety on the Nature Moncton
website with link (s) announced as soon as they may be available.
** Helen Chenell was
able to capture 2 video clips of the Tidal Bore that got things started
on the morning of Petitcodiac River Appreciation Day as its arrival was being
greeted by the RCMP Pipe and Drum Band. Take a look at the action by clicking
on the two short video links below:

**Gordon Rattray also very diligently
served as still photographer of the day and 40 photos are attached so folks can
click onto the photos they wish to see full screen.
Some of Gordon’s photos show how
Mother Nature’s forecast produced such a magnificent fall morning.
All thanks to Gordon for this portion
of creating memories.
