** Louise and Maurice Richard continue to have their regular visitor,
Mickey the MINK [ Vison d'Amerique ], making appearances along the river bank of
the Kouchibouguac River by their Acadieville cabin, and got a photo of it on
Friday. An AMERICAN BLACK DUCK [ Canard noir ] chose a rock in the middle of the
still open river for a photo op on Friday as well. Their RED SQUIRREL [ Ecureuil
roux ] with only half its tail continues to be present as well.
** Aldo Dorio got some nice close up photos of a RUFFED GROUSE [ Gelinotte
huppee ] at Malpec on Saturday, taking advantage of the bare ground to forage
before the snow arrived today.
