** Julie Pellerin reports a GREAT EGRET [Grande Aigrette] is still appearing in the Cap Brule marsh, and is seeming to appear only in the afternoons with Wednesday at 01:30 pm being an early afternoon arrival. Julie is noting a first year, sub adult male AMERICAN REDSTART [Paruline flamboyante] warbler with its yellow markings, that will become red later in the season, lingering around her Cap Brule yard. A ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK [Cardinal à poitrine rose] has been very loudly vocalizing for the past three days also in her Cap Brule yard.
** A PEREGRINE FALCON [Faucon pèlerin] has been appearing periodically over the past four to five days around the Cap Brule lagoon. It tends to perch on a snag tree at the end of the lagoon towards the marsh and along the path many travel to the lagoon. Several photographers have been taking advantage of the roosting site of this bird for a photo.
Atilla Fust was able to get a photo of a partial albino Blue Jay that has been regular recently around a neighbours  bird feeder recently. It surely is very predominantly white but is indeed a partial albino due to the pigmentation remaining in the eye, beak, and digits. Partial albino individuals are always special as each is a unique edition.
