**Susan Linkletter recently photographed a BLACK and YELLOW ARGIOPE spider showing the stabilimentum in its web, as well as what appears to be a RED BELLY SNAKE in a sawdust pile at her home.

**The warblers can get a bit testy on identification this time of year. From photos Judy and Sterling Marsh photographed what they suspect to be a NORTHERN PARULA warbler at Fundy National Park.

**Jamie and Karen Burris were in the Mary's Point area on Sunday to photograph what is suspected to be a juvenile YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER and a few GREATER YELLOWLEGS relaxing on a log.

On Monday around the old Coverdale Naval Base they noted a frog no more than an inch long in a puddle which appears to be a GREEN FROG and also noted what appeared to be a nymphal shell of a CICADA. The Cicada are calling, AKA stridulating loudly on these warm days. Jamie also comments on watching a sunbathing SONG SPARROW just laying there with its beak agape possibly a behaviour to rid parasites.

**Aldo Dorio got another photo of juvenile SPOTTED SANDPIPER showing the clean white breast less the spots of the adult in their summer plumage. It's a relatively short window we see this plumage before the spotted sandpipers migrate south with the adults that take on the un-spotted breast plumage as well in their basic winter . Note the white crescent in front of the wing and the prominent white partial eye ring of the fall adults and juveniles and as Gilles Belliveau points out, the scaly, wavy pattern on the back end and wings of the juveniles.

Aldo also got photos of SORA at Hay Island on Tuesday.
