Inman was able to capture 4 excellent photographs of a Clay-Colored Sparrow outside his Harvey window on Sunday that
beautifully show all the ID features that enable us to recognize this uncommon New Brunswick
sparrow. I am including all 4 of John’s photos to give everyone the opportunity to
peruse them carefully and be ready to identify this special sparrow.
(The
window into John’s yard has been very good to him and to us, giving us opportunities to appreciate his
patrons and visitors.)

Dorio continues to add to his fall collection of shorebirds at Hay Island.
On
Sunday, he was able to add Pectoral Sandpiper and Dunlin to the
2023 photo album.
