**Dan Hicks was able to get a video of his yard River Otter visitors as they returned for a second visit!

Check out the action at the link below:

**On Wednesday afternoon Brian Stone checked out the Hampton lagoon to find just 30 Mallard Ducks and 1 Mallard Duck hybrid. He also checked out the lagoon in Rothsay just outside Saint John and found a similar number of Mallard Ducks along with a good number of gulls eagerly foraging at the edge of the water.

(Editor’s note: note that in Brian’s gull photos, there is a significant presence of Iceland Gulls at various maturity levels.)

No other birds or critters of distinction were seen or photographed during the outing and Brian feels that his shutter finger is losing its muscle tone and hopes that it won't fail him if a sudden influx of bird life ever happens.

**Bob Blake maintains daily weather statistics from his second N. River home including morning low temperatures, daily high temperatures, and daily precipitation.

Bob compares his statistics for February 2023 with the month of February 2024.

(Editor’s note: it is interesting to note that February 2024 had half the amount of snow and one-quarter the amount of rain that we had in February 2023.)

Bob’s report is below as he sends it:
